Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuhu
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Eid-ul-Adha: Thursday, September 24, 2015
There have been no verified reports of moon sighting anywhere in the world that shared part of the night with the USA, and hence in accordance with our global moon sighting policy, we will complete the month of Dhul Qa’dah.
Insha-Allah, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Details on Eid prayer location and timing are below. Also a link is provided to a permission letter for school.
The Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) said the following about the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah: “There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." The people asked, "Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?" He said, "Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, except in the case of a man who went out to fight giving himself and his wealth up for the cause, and came back with nothing (Bukhari)”.

Building A Stronger Community Together
Al-Hamdulillah! All praises be to Allah and with immense gratitude to Him Subhanawa Taa’la for his blessings we would like to share great news that by His Sheer Mercy, Islamic Center of Round Rock has purchased the property adjacent to the masjid. This is a giant step towards “Securing our Future” and laying the foundation for our vision of Building an Islamic Institution in the Heart of Our Community.
This step would have not been possible without the help of Allah Subhanawa Taa’la and continuous financial and moral support from our community and we would like to thank all of you for making this achievement possible. Jazakallahu Khairan!
This is just to remind ourselves of the promise of Allah Subhanawa Taa’la in Surah Ar-Rahman (55:60):
هَلْ جَزَاءُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ
Translation: Is there any reward for good other than good?
Our work has just begun. Let's continue to show our commitment to the good - for the cause of Allah Subhanawa Ta’la in our community. With a little contribution from each one of us, together we will In Shaa' Allah achieve our goal to pay off the remaining balance. We request you to contribute generously by making recurring donation (download ACH pledge form) as well as making donation via PayPal. May Allah Subhanawa Taa’la accept all our deeds. Ameen!
Jazakallahu Khairan Kasira
